CLUB POLICIES

The Clubs Policy has a number of objectives including:

  • Preventing Underage Drinking
  • To Prevent Drinking & Driving
  • To Prevent & Manage Intoxication & Intoxicated behaviour
  • to prevent & manage violent or disruptive behaviour

Children On Premesis  

  • Children in the company of a responsible adult may sit in the non smoking section along the windows of the lounge area.  Children must vacate this area by 9.30pm. Prams and strollers are not permitted in the lounge area. Please ask staff to direct you to a suitable storage area
  • The lounge and bar area may be walked through to access the Restaurant.
  • Juniors may use this area at other times in the company of a responsible adult.
  • Children are not permitted to sit and stay in the lounge area ( However ), if the Restaurant is closed off or being used for a private function the Bar supervisor is permitted to make a decision on children sitting in the main lounge, however approval must be given by the bar supervisor on duty before gaining entry.
  • Junior Bowling members are allowed to sit in the lounge area at the non smoking table prior to and after organised games of bowls for which they are participating.

UNDER 18's are not permitted to:

  • Sit at high tables along windows near bar
  • Sit in a smoking area of the club
  • Consume alcohol or cigarettes on club premises
  • Enter the Gaming Room or wander around the lounge area un-accompanied
  • Approach the Bar
  • Partake in Gambling or gaming of any nature, eg, Keno, Tab games of chance

Managing Intoxicated or Violent Behaviour

 

  • It is the policy of the STBC not to allow intoxicated, quarrelsome behaviour in or around our premisis.
  • The Club's policy is based on the desire for ALL patrons to enjoy a comfortable environment in which to spend their recreational time.
  • Our aim is to serve customers Alcaholic beverages professionally, responsibly and in a friendly manner according to industry standards.
  • This policy in no way limits a person's choice to drink & enjoy themselves.
  • We seek to iliminate intoxication and reduce potential risk, to patrons and the general community
